Brake Controllers
Independent braking systems are required by law in most states for trailers over 3000lbs. Almost all of our campers fall under that category and each has its own braking system.
An electric brake controller is required to be equipped in the tow vehicle for these brakes to function properly. See below for examples of brake controllers to help determine if your vehicle is equipped with one.
If your vehicle does not have a brake controller, we can provide a wireless bluetooth enabled controller for a one time charge of $30.00.
PLEASE NOTE: Your vehicle MUST have a 7-Pin Round Female wiring harness. (Most vehicles have this standard, only older vehicles do not) See picture below.

Do I need a brake controller to tow one of your campers?
Yes. Independent braking systems are required by law in most states for trailers over 3,000 lbs, and almost all of our campers are over that. Your tow vehicle needs an electric brake controller and a 7-pin round female wiring harness. If yours does not have a controller we rent a wireless one for a one-time $30.00.
Will my truck tow it?
Your vehicle's tow capacity needs to be at least 1,000 lbs greater than the camper's loaded weight. If you are not sure, call us before you book and we will work it out with you.
How do I know if my vehicle has the right wiring?
You need a 7-pin round female wiring harness. Most vehicles have this as standard and only older ones do not. If you are not sure, call us and we will work it out with you.
