Long term camper rentals, delivered: the minimum is 3 nights and there is no lease
A long term RV rental here is two bookings, not one. We bring the camper and set it up. The park rents you the site, and the park’s rules are the stricter of the two. Monthly stays, insurance and disaster housing, crew housing and stays during a rebuild all work the same way.
Settle the site before the camper
We read the long-stay terms off 10 parks near here on September 17, 2026. Six of them will not take a monthly booking through their website, even where a weekend books online. Three open monthly reservations only inside a stated window, which at Gulf State Park is November through March. Four publish a maximum age for the RV itself, and one of those publishes no way around it.
Why the order matters
The park takes its deposit first and several of those deposits are non-refundable, from $100 at Pensacola RV Park to $500 at Sugar Sands. Book the camper first and you are holding a trailer for a site that may not accept it. Book the site first, tell us what the park allows, and we send a camper that clears it.

For a stay measured in months, the numbers that matter are the slide-outs and the length, because you are not towing it anywhere. These are the four with the most of both, from our Wheelbase listings, measured September 17, 2026. Any of the 17 can be taken by the month.

Delivery is $250 around Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Foley and up to $500 farther out, charged once whatever the length of the stay. Over a month that is the smallest line on the bill. What a month costs sets out every price and every fee, camper by camper.
Four things to settle before you book
- Where it sits. A park, or private land you have the right to use. If it is your own lot during a rebuild, ask your city or county first: whether a camper can be lived in on a residential lot is their rule, not ours.
- What the park allows. The monthly window, the site rent, the deposit terms and the maximum age of RV. four of the parks near here publish that last one and it applies to our trailer.
- Who is paying. If this is an insurance or disaster stay, have the claim number and your adjuster’s contact to hand when you call. We work with local insurance companies on the cost of temporary housing, and what your own policy covers is a question for your adjuster.
- How long. 3 nights is the minimum. There is no published maximum on our side or theirs, so the answer comes from the park office.

Where a park publishes nothing, this site says so rather than filling the gap: 7 of them do not publish a monthly site rent at all.
Long term questions
Is there a minimum or maximum length for a long term rental?
The minimum is 3 nights on every camper, which is the same as a weekend booking. We publish no maximum, and none of the 10 parks near here publishes one either. The limit in practice is what the park will hold, so settle the site before the camper.
Does insurance pay for it?
We work with local insurance companies to cover the cost of temporary housing, which is what this page has said since before the site moved. How your own claim is paid is between you and your adjuster, and we do not publish the terms of that. Call us with the claim details and we will tell you what we can do.
Can it be parked at my own house during a rebuild?
That depends on your city or county, not on us. We deliver to a site you have the right to use, and zoning and permit rules for a camper lived in on a residential lot vary by jurisdiction. Check with your local planning office before you book, because the camper is the easy part to arrange.
Do I sign a lease?
No. The booking runs through our reservation system for the dates you take, and there is no lease and no credit check. Payment is taken up front as the booking states.
Is the campsite included?
No. You rent the site from the park and the camper from us. Of the 10 parks near here that publish long-stay terms, six will not take a monthly booking through their website at all.
Who can rent?
Renters must be 25 or older. That is the same on a six-month stay as on a weekend.
