Orange Beach, Alabama
Orange Beach RV rentals, delivered to an RV park, because the city bans sleeping in one on a driveway
Orange Beach forbids sleeping in an RV anywhere in the city except an RV park or a designated part of a mobile home park, with one narrow exception for homeowners rebuilding. So a camper rented for Orange Beach goes to a park, and we tow it there from our lot in Foley, 6.8 miles away, and set it up.
Orange Beach in short
- What: camper rentals, 15 campers on the calendar, delivered and hooked up to water, sewer and power at your site.
- Where: an RV park in Orange Beach. The city rule below rules out a driveway or a rental house lot.
- Camper price: $109 to $225 a night, $588.60 to $1,350 a week, $2,648.70 to $6,075 a month. Measured from our booking calendar on October 15, 2026. The camper and the dates decide where you land. Check your dates for the exact rate.
- Delivery to Orange Beach: $250, the same row of our fee table as Gulf Shores and Foley. Every town’s fee.
- Shortest trip: 3 nights. At list price that is $577 to $925 with delivery, before the park’s site rent.
- Set at checkout, not here: the security deposit, prep fee and insurance. Pets and add-ons are priced on the pet policy and add-ons pages.
- Who can rent: 25 or older.
Why the driveway offer stops at the Orange Beach line
Our homepage offers house guests a camper “right in your driveway”. In Orange Beach that does not work. Section 5.1601 of the city zoning ordinance reads:
No recreational vehicle, camper shell, automobile or similar device shall be occupied, or used for living or sleeping quarters for any period of time, except in recreational vehicle parks and designated areas of mobile home parks.
The same subsection adds that an empty camper may be parked at a house or business but may not be connected to water or sewer. A camper nobody may sleep in, with no water and no sewer, is a trailer in storage. So for guests visiting Orange Beach, the camper goes to a park site, and that is where they sleep.
The ordinance does carve out one case. A homeowner rebuilding their own house may live in an RV on that lot or the next one for up to 6 months, with a written request for up to 6 more. It needs all of these:
- Prior approval from the Community Development Department.
- A valid building permit, kept current for the whole stay.
- Connected to water and sewer, with garbage service registered at the address.
- On the same parcel as the house being built or rebuilt, or the parcel next to it.
That is a rebuild after damage or a new build, and it is covered on our hurricane temporary housing page. A family visit, a wedding weekend or a beach house that ran out of beds is none of those.
What it costs to get this wrong
Section 12.0602 makes each violation of the zoning ordinance a misdemeanor, with a fine of up to $100 or up to 10 days in jail, and every day it continues counts as a separate violation. The people who can be charged include the owner, agent, lessee, tenant, contractor or anyone else using the premises, and anyone who knowingly takes part or assists. The city first gives the owner a 30-day notice to correct it. The fine is the ceiling. The cost you would actually meet is a camper and its guests that have to move to a park mid-trip, and we publish no fee for moving a camper between sites, so that is a phone call and a second trip. Book the park site first and none of it arises.
The Orange Beach park we list, and its rules
Our campground list names one park inside Orange Beach, Pandion Ridge RV Resort. It now trades as Sun Outdoors Orange Beach, at 4100 Pandion Blvd., Orange Beach, AL 36561, phone (844) 707-4343, with 400+ full-hookup RV sites. We read its rules on October 15, 2026. They are the park’s rules, and three of them decide how your camper is used.
Six people per site, whatever the camper sleeps
A reservation includes 4 people. Each extra person pays a fee, and 6 is the most a site may hold, visitors included. Our campers sleep up to 10. Eight of our 15 campers sleep more than 6, so at this park their extra beds stay empty, and 13 sleep more than 4, so filling them means paying the extra-person fee. The rules we read say the fee exists but not what it is. Ask the office before you book a big camper for a big group, or split the group across two sites.
Check-in is 2:00 PM, and the person who booked must be there
RV sites check in at 2:00 PM and out at 11:00 AM. Early arrival between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM for a $30 early check-in fee, when available. The person who reserved the site must be at least 18 and physically present at check-in. A guest who has not shown up 24 hours after check-in time, with no prior arrangement, is a no-show and forfeits the deposit. We do not publish a delivery window, so set the delivery time with us when you book, and plan to meet us at the park.
You can book any park you like, in Orange Beach or next door in Gulf Shores, where the delivery fee is the same. Our own campground page asks one thing: tell the office your rental trailer is being delivered and set up by us. Several Gulf Shores parks publish their long-stay terms on our snowbird page.
From our Foley lot to Orange Beach
Picking the camper up yourself instead of having it delivered? The lot is at 20839 Brinks Willis Rd, Foley, AL 36535. It is a storage yard worked by appointment, so call 1-251-279-0483 before you come. The drive to Sun Outdoors Orange Beach is 6.8 miles:
- Leave the lot at 20839 Brinks Willis Rd and follow Brinks Willis Road to its end at the Foley Beach Express (AL 161), about 0.9 miles.
- Turn right, south, onto the Foley Beach Express and stay on it for about 5 miles, across the Intracoastal Waterway bridge.
- Take the roundabout onto Canal Road (AL 180) and continue about three quarters of a mile to the park entrance.
The Foley Beach Express bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway has been toll free since noon on May 23, 2024. Towing it yourself needs an electric brake controller on the tow vehicle; we rent a wireless one if yours has none.

Orange Beach questions
How much is an RV rental in Orange Beach?
Our campers list at $109 to $225 a night, $588.60 to $1,350 a week and $2,648.70 to $6,075 a month, measured from our booking calendar on October 15, 2026. Which camper and which dates decide where you land. Delivery and setup to Orange Beach is $250 from our published fee table, and the park charges its own site rent on top.
Can you deliver an RV to my house or condo in Orange Beach?
Not for anyone to sleep in. The Orange Beach zoning ordinance says no RV may be occupied or used for sleeping for any period of time except in an RV park or a designated area of a mobile home park. An empty camper may be parked at a residence but may not be hooked to water or sewer. The one exception is a homeowner rebuilding their own house, with the city's approval and a building permit.
Which campground in Orange Beach do you deliver to?
The Orange Beach park in our campground list is Sun Outdoors Orange Beach, which our list still names Pandion Ridge RV Resort. The park confirms the new name in its own FAQ. Delivery there is $250. You can book any park you like: tell the office your trailer is being delivered and set up by us.
How many people can stay on an RV site in Orange Beach?
At Sun Outdoors Orange Beach, a reservation includes 4 people, each extra person pays a fee, and 6 is the most a site may hold, counting visitors. Eight of our 15 campers sleep more than 6, and the park rule wins. The rules we read do not state the extra-person fee, so ask the office.
What time can the camper be delivered to the park?
Sun Outdoors Orange Beach checks RV sites in at 2:00 PM and out at 11:00 AM, with early arrival from 11:00 AM for a fee when a site is free. The person who booked the site has to be there at check-in. We do not publish a delivery window, so agree the time with us when you book.
How old do you have to be to rent?
25 or older, on every camper. The park only asks that the person on its reservation is 18, so its rule does not lower ours.
Anything not answered here, call 1-251-279-0483. We would rather answer it before you book than after.
How we know
The city rules and the park rules were read off their own documents on October 15, 2026. Camper prices and sleeping counts come from our booking calendar, measured October 15, 2026; rates move with the dates, so the calendar is what you book at. The delivery fee is from our own fee table. The route was measured on OpenStreetMap data on October 15, 2026. Park rules change without notice, so confirm them with the office.
