Long term rental prices

Monthly RV rental cost: every fee we charge is charged once, so a month costs $8.33 a night in delivery instead of $83.33

We do not publish a nightly rate, because it changes by date and by camper in our booking system, and a figure typed on this page would be wrong more often than right. Everything else in the bill is fixed, published, and set out below.

The part that does not move

Two of our charges are one-off. Delivery is $250 around Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Foley, rising to $500 at the far end of the table, and it is charged per trip rather than per night. Every add-on is also per trip: $5 for a camping chair up to $125 for the romance package.

Divide those by the nights and the same fee reads differently. The shortest stay we accept is 3 nights.

Charged once per tripOver 3 nightsOver 30 nights
Delivery, Gulf Shores or Orange Beach or Foley ($250)$83.33 a night$8.33 a night
Delivery, the far end of the table ($500)$166.67 a night$16.67 a night
Brake controller ($30)$10 a night$1 a night

This is why long term RV rental prices are hard to compare from the outside. Two operators can quote the same travel trailer rental cost per night and differ by $250 before the camper moves, and the difference is in a line most people read last.

What this changes

Compare long stays on the total, not on the nightly rate. A quote with a lower nightly rate and a delivery $250 higher is the dearer one on a weekend and barely distinguishable on a month. The renter who compares the wrong number pays up to $250 for the privilege, and it is the part of the bill that is easiest to check in advance.

Delivery, by town

Our own fee table, the same one the delivery page prints. It is a round trip: we tow the camper to the site, level it, and collect it at the end.

The bill we do not send you

The campsite is rented from the park, not from us, and on a month it is usually the larger of the two bills. We read the long-stay terms off 10 parks near here on September 17, 2026. three of them publish a monthly figure.

  • Island Retreat RV Park, Gulf Shores

Standard back-in from $1,100 plus tax in spring and fall, $1,145 in January to March, $1,400 in June and July. Pull-thru premium from $1,300 plus tax.

  • Anchors Aweigh RV Resort, South Foley

Winter monthly rate $835 back-in, $935 Admiral, $935 pull-thru, plus tax and electric. The park notes it is subject to change without notice.

  • Pensacola RV Park, Pensacola

$675 per month plus electric, for one or two people. Each extra person over 12 adds $2 per night.

The other 7 quote site rent when you enquire, and several meter electricity on top. Park rates change without notice, so treat these as the figure that park published on September 17, 2026 and confirm it before you count on it. The full table of what each park publishes carries the deposits and the rules with it.

The number we will not make up

The camper’s nightly rate is set in Wheelbase and moves with the dates. A holiday week is not a February week, and the rate differs by camper as well. That is why no page on this site prints one.

Put your dates into the booking calendar and the rate for those exact nights comes back with the total. It takes about as long as reading this paragraph, and unlike a published figure it is correct.

How we know

Delivery fees are our own published table, parsed from the delivery page so the two can never disagree. Add-on prices are parsed from the add-ons page for the same reason. The minimum stay of 3 nights is read from our booking system. Park site rents were read off each park’s own site on September 17, 2026 and every one links to its source. The per-night figures are those published fees divided by the nights, and nothing on this page is an estimate.

Cost questions

What does a monthly RV rental cost?

Three lines, and we set two of them. Delivery is a one-off, $250 to $500 by town. Add-ons are one-off, $5 to $125 per trip. The camper's own rate changes with the dates, so the live calendar is the only honest answer to that part. The campsite is billed separately by the park.

Check live dates

Why do you not publish a monthly price?

Because it would be wrong most of the time. Rates move by date and by camper in Wheelbase, and a renter who reads one figure here and sees another at checkout has been misled by us. Everything on this page that does not move is published in full.

Is a monthly rental cheaper per night than a weekend?

On the fixed part, yes, and by a lot. Delivery at $250 spread over the 3-night minimum is $83.33 a night. The same delivery over 30 nights is $8.33. We cannot tell you what the nightly rate does over the same stretch, because that is set by the calendar.

Does the campsite come with it?

No. The park bills the site and we bill the camper. Of 10 parks near here that publish long-stay terms, three publish a monthly site rent and the rest quote it on enquiry.

What the parks publish

What is the deposit?

Wheelbase takes the deposit at checkout and states it on the booking, so it is shown there rather than here. The parks hold their own deposits separately, and several of those are non-refundable.

Who can rent?

Renters must be 25 or older. The minimum stay is 3 nights on every camper.
