Delivery
We deliver the camper to your site and set it up: water, sewer and power connected to the hookups the site provides, and the tanks dumped and flushed when we collect it. Delivery is $250 to $500 depending on the town, charged once for the trip. 20 of the 25 campgrounds we recommend sit in towns the fee table names.
The camper can be picked up in our safe and secure location in Foley, AL or we can deliver to surrounding areas with a charge. Take a look at all of the areas that we deliver.

What services does the optional delivery include?
The delivery fee covers the set up of water, sewer, and power to hookups that are provided at the campsite, plus dumping/flushing of tanks when we return for pickup. Full Hookup Campsites are HIGHLY encouraged! We want our customers to have the best trip possible and we have found that a full hookup campsite increases customer satisfaction!
The renter must communicate the camp spot location (and lack of hookup availability) to us at the time of booking your reservation so we can provide as much assistance to the renter as possible. We want happy campers!
*Does your location not have hookups? For locations that do not have power connections, we do not provide or set up generators, but the renter can set up a generator on their own. This is how most people tailgate with RV's! Click here for tutorial videos that can assist you. For locations that do not provide water connections, please let us know prior to your delivery if you have a request for your tank to be filled with water and we can work with you to see if we can accommodate the special request. If there is not a location to dump sewer at the camping site or if the request for the water tank to be filled can be fulfilled by Gulf Shores RV Rentals, we charge a fee of $50. Required for delivery locations with no hookups- Dumping sewer is included in the delivery cost but if there is no location to dump sewer at the campsite location, we charge a $50 fee. Similarly, if the customer requests the water tank to be filled prior to delivery, we charge a $50 fee. These actions add time and expense to the delivery drivers and we need to make sure they are compensated fairly.

The park decides when it can land
An RV delivered to a site cannot arrive before the site is yours. We read the arrival rules off five of the 10 parks near here on September 17, 2026. Every one of them checks out at 11:00 AM and checks in at either 1:00 PM or 2:00 PM, so on a changeover day the window to place a camper is two to three hours wide.

What it costs to land at the wrong hour
Three of these parks put a price or a penalty on it. Pensacola RV Park charges $5 an hour to check in early. Fort Morgan RV Park charges $30 for an early check-in when one is available, and cancels the reservation without a refund if nobody calls and nobody arrives before 8:00 PM. Sugar Sands takes no arrivals after 10:00 PM at all. A delivery that slips past those hours can cost you the site, not merely the afternoon.
So give us the park and the first night when you book, and tell the park a camper is being delivered rather than driven in. We do not publish a delivery time window, because it depends on the run that day, and we would rather say that than print an hour we cannot keep. Ask us for the window when you book and we will give you the real one.
What RV delivery and setup covers
- Towing both ways. The fee is for the round trip. It is the same fee whether the camper stays three nights or a month, which is why it is the cheapest line on a long stay. See the arithmetic.
- Hookups the site provides. Water, sewer and power connected to what is already there. Where a site has no dump connection, a $50 charge covers dumping elsewhere.
- Tanks dumped at pickup. Dumping and flushing happen when we collect it, so you do not deal with the tanks at the end.
- No generator. At a site with no power we do not provide or set up a generator. You may bring your own.
- Tell us about the site at booking. The spot number and anything missing from it, hookups especially. A driver who learns at the gate that there is no sewer connection has already made the trip.
Deliveries and pickups may not run on major holidays. Ask before you book those dates.

What does the delivery fee cover?
Setting up water, sewer and power to the hookups provided at the campsite, and dumping and flushing the tanks when we come back to collect it.
What if my campsite has no hookups?
We do not provide or set up generators, but you can set one up yourself, which is how most people tailgate with an RV. If there is nowhere to dump sewer at the site, or you want the fresh tank filled before we arrive, that is a $50 fee. Tell us at the time of booking.
Do you deliver on holidays?
Deliveries and pickups may not be available on major holidays. Call us to ask about the specific dates you need.
How much is delivery to the campground I have picked?
We have matched most of the parks we recommend to a price from the table on this page, so you can look yours up rather than work it out. Five sit in towns the table does not name, and we quote those over the phone rather than guess.
Does the rental include a campsite?
No. A campsite is not included with a camper rental, and you book it yourself. Tell the park that the trailer is being delivered and set up by Gulf Shores Travel Trailer Rentals. We are happy to suggest somewhere if you are not sure.
